Le CabRH, a recruitment and executive search firm, is recruiting on behalf of its client—a leader in its field—a Key Account Manager Germany (M/F) for a permanent position (CDI).
About the Company
Our client is a major European player in the energy sector, specializing in the design and distribution of innovative battery solutions (starting, industrial, traction, and custom-made). Founded in 2005, the brand is renowned for its reliability across OEM and aftermarket sectors.
In the context of strong expansion within the DACH region, we are seeking a Key Account Manager to lead the strategic development of this key market.
The Role
As part of a newly created position and reporting to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and increasing brand visibility across Germany. Your mission will focus on three main pillars:
1. Business Development & Strategy
- Active Prospecting: Identify and acquire new strategic accounts (Key Accounts, distributors, OEMs).
- Regional Strategy: Actively participate in defining a commercial policy tailored to the specificities of the German market.
- Market Intelligence: Analyze market trends, technological requirements, and competitor movements.
2. Account Management & Retention
- Portfolio Management: Manage and retain existing clients in the DACH region by establishing long-term partnerships.
- Negotiation: Lead complex contractual negotiations (pricing, logistics, framework agreements).
- Product Optimization: Collaborate with Marketing and Product departments to provide field feedback and enhance the battery solutions portfolio.
3. Reporting & Coordination
- Performance Tracking: Provide regular activity reports (KPIs, sales forecasts, sales pipeline) to senior management.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Operations, Support, and Logistics teams to ensure operational excellence.
Candidate Profile
- Education: Master’s degree (Business School or Engineering with a strong commercial mindset).
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience as a Key Account Manager or Business Developer, ideally within a technical or industrial environment. Knowledge of the battery or energy sector is a significant advantage.
- Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the German market.
- Languages: Fluency in German and English is mandatory.

- Autonomy: Ability to self-organize while working remotely (Home Office) while staying aligned with team goals.
- Interpersonal Excellence: Proven ability to influence high-level stakeholders (Procurement and Technical Directorates).
Compensation & Benefits
- Package: Fixed salary + performance-based bonus (Total package: €75k – €100k depending on profile and experience).
- Company Car.
- Location: Based in Germany (Home Office).
- Mobility: Frequent travel required throughout the country.
